What We Do

  • Fund and support the primary school which comprises 14 Ugandan staff, including Headteacher, Safeguarding officer, and 9 teaching staff.

  • Provide bursaries at St Kizito Secondary School, our preferred private school located within the local area, for those children most at need to ensure they can continue learning beyond Primary 7.

  • Operate a safe residential home for girls at risk to live and learn in secure accommodation protected from abuse or neglect.

  • Support community initiatives – housing repairs, health interventions and welfare projects for families at risk.

  • Helping Uganda Educate - encouragement of teachers to continue their educational journey with three female staff currently being sponsored to complete their professional diplomas.

  • Provide the children at the primary school with access to basic healthcare and two meals a day.

  • At the start of the school year in February, each child at primary is provided with school uniform and sports kit recycled from the UK.

You once asked us what we wanted to be in the future. At the time, it was like a joke but now I realise everything is possible. If I had not had your support I would have been a school dropout. I will not let down your efforts and for the good of my dreams, I am willing and ready to work to be a lawyer. Thank you HUGE. Yours sincerely, Ronald. Lawyer to be.
